Noam Heinz is a British- American- Israeli baritone whose performances are distinguished by a compelling stage presence and a voice of notable power and expressive range. Praised by opening-night critics for projecting “a rich, powerful voice imbued with extraordinary range and emotional depth,” he has quickly established himself as a versatile and engaging performer across both operatic and concert repertoire.

In the 2025/26 season, Noam makes his debut at the Staatsoper Stuttgart as the Second Leviathan in Der rote Wal by Vivian & Kegan Bhatti. During the same season, he returns to the Israeli Opera as Aeneas in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and Papageno in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. He is also a finalist in the 2025 Paris Opera Competition.

In the previous season, he appeared at the Komische Oper Berlin as Horemhab in Philip Glass’s Akhnaten and as Schaunard in Puccini’s La bohème, both in productions by Barrie Kosky. He also made his debut at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence as Mr. Redburn /First Mate in Britten’s The Story of Billy Budd (arr. Oliver Leith), in a production staged by Ted Huffman, and was invited to join the prestigious Académie du Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.

From 2023 to 2025, Noam was a member of the International Opera Studio of the Komische Oper Berlin, where he developed a broad and stylistically diverse repertoire. His roles included Ben Harper (Tom Sawyer), the Priest of Jupiter (Hercules), Revierförster (Die kleine Hexe), Holger Nilsson (Nils Holgersson), and the Duke of Mantua (Die Banditen), reflecting his versatility across contemporary, classical, and family repertoire.

A graduate of the Meitar Opera Studio of the Israeli Opera (2020–2022), Noam appeared in studio productions as Nick Shadow in The Rake’s Progress and in the title role of Don Giovanni. During this period, he also performed Masetto (Don Giovanni), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Prince Yamadori (Madama Butterfly), and Le Dancaïre (Carmen) with the Israeli Opera, laying the foundations of a steadily expanding operatic career.

Equally at home on the concert stage, Noam has performed Raphael in Haydn’s The Creation, Handel’s Johannes-Passion, and Fauré’s Requiem. He has also appeared in Joseph Tal’s Exodus at Carnegie Hall (Stern Auditorium), alongside numerous additional oratorio and symphonic works.

Noam studied at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv.
